Simon Bolivar Spanish School offers a 1-week program at the Yarina Lodge, which combines Spanish lessons with varied guided trips and activities such as hiking, bird watching, observation of local flora and fauna, visits to an indigenous community, among many others.
Yarina (name of the Tagua palm, in Quichua) is considered a unique place in this region, offering 20 huts that can accommodate up to 50 people, made from typical materials like bamboo, Pambil palm and toquilla straw. It is located on the Napo river, only 60 minutes away from Puerto Francisco de Orellana by canoe.
