The Yarina Lodge
The Yarina lodge is located near to Puerto Francisco de Orellana (Coca). To get to the Lodge we take a motor canoe up the Napo river for about one hour.
Yarina (name in Quichua of the Tagua´s palm tree) is considered the unique place in this region where you will have many opportunities to enjoy the flora and fauna of the ecuadorian jungle.
Visiting the different paths of our reserve, you will learn about the most popular plants used by the indigenous quichuas to heal a lot of sickness, moreover you will enjoy watching birds, armadillos, monkeys, snakes, caimans, etc; all this in 450 hectares of primary forest with the assistance of naturalist guides.
With a capacity for 50 passengers, the Yarina lodge offers you 20 huts with private bathrooms. The huts are made with typical materials like: bamboo in the walls, the palm of pambil in the floor and the toquilla straw in the roof. All these materials provided by indigenous who plant these materials to sell and get money.

During eight daily hours (8am - 12m) (6pm - 10pm) electricity is provided for all the lodge. In the main cabin is located the dining room and social area, a nice place to rest, make friends or simply to enjoy the view.
