"My professor was fantastic -knowledgeable, creative, friendly, flexible and fun! world-class teacher. The mix of speaking, reading, writing and "hands-on" exursions into the local markets expanded my knowledge of Ecuadorian culture along with building my confidence to speak Spanish in real-life situations. The after school activities were fantastic - exposing me to salsa dancing, the kichua language, and with many opportunities to mmet other interesting people from all over the world"

"Simon Bolivar is great! The teachers and the staff are outstanding in their work trying to make the stay of the students as fun, comfortable and instructive as possible. I have learned a lot! I think it's great that the school arranges trips to different places every weekend and that they're so flexible. I give my biggest recommendations to this school!"

"Out of the many schools listed on the Internet for taking Spanish classes in Quito, we chose Simon Bolivar randomly. What a stroke of luck! The office is organized, the teachers are excellent, professional, friendly and devoted; and the extra activities are an interesting bonus. We would recommend these classes to others and come again. Muchas gracias"

"When I arrived at Simon Bolivar my Spanish was non-existent. The teachers at school quickly assessed my level and armed me with very practical everyday phrases that I was able to put into practice straight away. This was great for my confidence and thoroughly enriched my traveling experience. Following this base we moved on to study grammar and sentence structure and vocabulary from a wide range of areas. My Spanish has improved drastically and my time at SB was both productive and a lot of fun"

"The value of traveling abroad to study Spanish is evident immediately upon arrival. Everyone at the school is dedicated to making sure you have a great experience in Ecuador. I've had an amazing experience here; I plan to continue lessons online and hopefully return"

"Expectations were met and more. From y first contact to the end of my classes, everyone was a PRO. I learned Spanish, learned much about Euador too. Special thanks to my teacher for her patience at school and to my host family for making me feel at home. I have studied Spanish in the past but this time I can speak and understand Spanish well enough to travel "solo" in Spanish-speaking countries. It is my hope that when I return my wife and I can take some more lessons in the future"

"The school offers the complete package in terms of learning Spanish, value for money, meeting new people and its location. I arrived in Quito knowing no Spanish and knowing no one here. However after spending 9 weeks here, I feel confident in holding a conversation in Spanish, and I have made many friends. The school is located at the centre of the social scene in Quito, and it offers many exiting activities (cocktail lessons, weekend excursions around Ecuador, etc) Overall the school has a great atmosphere, with warm and friendly staff/teachers, and it's definitely worth the money!"

"A peaceful and homely place to learn Spanish. Throughout my study the very patient staff helped me get organised for my time in Ecuador- always happy to listen and give me a helping hand. The school provides a great base to explore Quito and Ecuador - thanks to fun-packed trips on weekends and the chance to meet other students from around the world. Simon Bolivar is a great place to start your experience of South America"

"My teachers all shared the common traits of patience and persistance. As my time at the school was quite short I really valued sharing my time with other students on several excursions. My travel arrangements were made simple by the willing assistance of the staff. My Spanish lessons will be but its good use travelling Ecuador and beyond. The Simon Bolivar staff attended to every detail in a friendly and professional manner"

"During my 4 weeks in the Simon Bolivar Spanish School I was able to learn a significant amount of Spanish. Thanks to my professional teacher and my outstanding host family I'm now able to talk to the local people and learn more about their culture and travel more easily through South America. Besides my very interesting and helpful classes I really enjoyed the weekend trips and daily afternoon programs. I consider myself lucky of meeting many wonderful people! I can strongly recommend this language school and I wish you all the best for the future"

"My experience at Simon Bolivar was excellent. I am at the advanced level and my instructor organized the class exactly at my level. We did some review and also much new material. I felt that I learned a great deal in the 2 weeks I was at school. We practiced vocabulary and reviewed the verb tenses which I wished to review. Also Simon Bolivar arranged the homestay for me and the family I stayed with was great. The meals were delicious and the acommodations were excellent"

"My teachers were excellent, we spent a lot of time talking in Spanish and practicing the vocabulary and grammar that we covered each day. In just 2 weeks my Spanish has improved immensly. The school itself was in a great location and was well-organized with various activities every day. The school arranged evertything from transfer from the airport and a family homestay. I would highly recommend Simon Bolivar to anyone who wants to learn or improve their Spanish, while enjoying Quito and Ecuador"
